2024 Renault Kwid: What’s new compared to pre-update model

Renault India has unleashed the 2024 avatar of its popular Kwid hatchback, aiming to redefine the driving experience for its customers. The refreshed model brings a lot of updates, from a new variant and dual-tone exterior color to a more expansive touchscreen infotainment system.

2024 Renault Kwid: The New Affordability

The pricing strategy for the 2024 Renault Kwid is a game-changer. Priced between ₹4.70 lakh and ₹6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated model boasts of a significant reduction in prices across all variants. Notably, the Climber AMT variant is now available at ₹6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), down from the pre-facelift model's ₹6.33 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2024 Renault Kwid introduces a revised variant lineup. While bidding farewell to the RXL MT variant, the lineup welcomes the RXL (O) AMT as a fresh addition. Impressively, the RXL (O) AMT stands out as the most affordable automatic car in India, priced attractively at ₹5.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Dual-Tone Colors:

The exterior of the hatchback receives a vibrant makeover with three new dual-tone paint options: Moonlight Silver with Black, Zanskar Blue with Black, and Fiery Red with Black. These join the existing Metal Mustard with Black and Ice Cool White with Black. Mono-tone choices include Ice Cool White, Fiery Red, Outback Bronze, Moonlight Silver, and Zanskar Blue.

In terms of features, the 2024 Renault Kwid elevates its game with an all-new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, now available from the RXL (O) variant priced at ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom). This enhancement positions the Kwid as one of the most affordable cars in the country to offer a touchscreen infotainment system. 

Safety Features:

The safety features of the new Kwid hatchback include the addition of a rear seat belt reminder across all variants. Standard safety features across the lineup comprise front seat belts with load limiter, driver seat belt with pre-tensioner, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), front driver and passenger airbags, pedestrian protection, speed alert warning, driver and passenger seat belt reminder, ABS, EBD with brake assist, and rear door child lock.
