Lectrix EV and ZEVO join forces to launch electric two-wheelers

Lectrix EV, a leader in the electric two-wheeler industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with ZEVO, an electric vehicle manufacturing company. This partnership aims to bring innovation to last-mile delivery across India. 

Agreement: 1,000 electric two-wheelers and access to battery sharing network 

Under the contract, Lectrix EV will supply ZEVO with 1,000 new electric two-wheelers to be used in the last-mile delivery service. To address the critical issue of range anxiety, ZEVO will participate in the Lectrix EV battery transfer network to maintain EV range. \N.

In addition, ZEVO benefits from Lectrix EV's extensive ecosystem integration, which includes vehicles, battery solutions and a robust battery exchange network. Thanks to this ecosystem, ZEVO can improve the performance of its B2B fleet and provide excellent service to its customers.

Lectrix EV Innovative Battery Exchange Network 

Lectrix EV is the only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in India to offer an exchange network. This network offers customers the option to pay per shift or per kilometre, which solves range issues. According to Lectrix EV, a 52-second battery change can increase the range of an electric car by 98 kilometres. 

The network includes plans for 400 interchanges in Bengaluru, 300 in Delhi/NCR and a significant number of interchanges planned in Pune and Hyderabad, ensuring city-wide coverage. This network ensures that riders can swap batteries on the go, eliminating interval anxiety, reducing downtime and increasing their revenue potential while providing a more convenient experience.
