Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler start-up, Oben Electric, has recently expanded its operations to Delhi. The company has announced an introductory price of ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, including state subsidy) for its Rorr electric motorcycle. The first 100 customers in Delhi will benefit from a ₹40,000 discount. Additionally, Oben Electric has inaugurated its first showroom in Delhi, located in Pitampura.

Oben Rorr Price Cut

As part of a promotional offer, the Oben Rorr will be available at a significant discount in Delhi. This price cut makes the Rorr more affordable compared to competitors like the Revolt RV400 and Hop Oxo, albeit for a limited period. The aim is to reward early adopters in Delhi and encourage more buyers to explore the e-motorcycle.

The Oben Rorr is equipped with an 8 kWh electric motor, promising a range of 187 km (IDC) on a single charge. The electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 100 kmph.

Expansion Plans

Oben Electric is betting big on Delhi-NCR as its next major market. The company plans to open 12 showrooms and service centers across the region within the next year. Currently, Oben operates in Bengaluru, its home market, and has recently announced new showrooms in Pune, Maharashtra, as well as Kochi and Trivandrum, Kerala. With eight showrooms already operational across various cities, the company aims to expand to 50 outlets across 12 cities by the end of the year.
