Royal Enfield has launched the 2023 model of the Continental GT 650 in India with new colour options and alloy wheels. The bike is available in four variants: Standard, Custom, Alloy Wheel and Chrome. The prices range from Rs. 3.18 lakh to Rs. 3.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
Introduction
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a retro-styled cafe racer bike that draws inspiration from the original Continental GT 250 of the 1960s.
Variant and Color
The Continental GT 650 is available in four variants: Standard, Custom, Alloy Wheel and Chrome.
The Standard variant comes in two colours: Rocker Red and British Racing Green.
The Custom variant offers two colours: Dux Deluxe and Mr Clean.
The Alloy Wheel variant gets two new blacked-out colours: Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey.
The Chrome variant comes in a single colour: Chrome Black Magic. The Alloy Wheel variant also gets tubeless tyres as standard.
Engine and Power
It is powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 47 bhp at 7150 rpm and 52 Nm at 5250 rpm.
The engine has a 270-degree firing order that gives it a distinctive exhaust note. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that has a slipper clutch for smooth gear shifts.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
It has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres. The bike has a claimed fuel efficiency of around 25 kmpl, which gives it a range of around 300 km on a full tank.

Wheel Size and Weight
It has spoked wheels as standard, except for the Alloy Wheel variant that gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The wheel size is 18 inches for both front and rear wheels.
The tyre size is 100/90-18 for the front and 130/70-18 for the rear. The bike weighs 211 kg (kerb) for the Standard and Custom variants, and 214 kg (kerb) for the Alloy Wheel and Chrome variants.
