Kia has introduced several visual updates to the Syros. The front and rear bumpers now feature new body-colored, trapezoidal inserts. Skid plates, previously finished in silver, now come in gloss black. Higher-spec trims receive new LED fog lamps and a high-mounted LED stop lamp at the rear. The blacked-out treatment extends to the wing mirror caps and roof rails. The 17-inch alloy wheels on the HTX and HTX(O) trims now sport a new design and neon brake callipers.

Three new exterior colors are available: Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, and Ivory Silver Gloss. While no new features have been added, Kia has adjusted the equipment list to provide more comfort and convenience features on lower and mid-spec trims.

Powertrain and Competition

The powertrain options remain unchanged. The Syros continues with a 120 HP, 172 Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5-liter diesel engine produces 116 HP and 250 Nm of peak torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Kia Syros competes with other sub-4m SUVs in India, including the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq, and Kia Sonet.
