The new ADAS suite in the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq includes features similar to those found in the Skoda Octavia/Golf and Tiguan R-Line. These features aim to enhance driver safety and convenience. Skoda is following a top-down approach for ADAS implementation in India, starting with higher-end models and gradually introducing the technology to budget offerings.

The updated Kodiaq is offered in three variants. Customers can choose from five exterior colours. However, Skoda has removed the steel grey colour option for the Sportline variant and the Red Velvet colour for the L&K variant. The removal of Red Velvet is likely in anticipation of the upcoming Kodiaq RS, which will feature a similar red shade and is set to launch in India later this year.

Pricing, Launch, and Competition

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be priced up to Rs. 75,000 more than the previous model. The official launch is anticipated to take place within this month. The Kodiaq will compete with several rivals in the Indian market, including the Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Honda HR-V. These models are either currently available or expected to launch soon, offering customers multiple choices in the premium SUV segment.

Skoda has also provided a first drive review of the updated Kodiaq, offering insights into its performance and new features. The review is available for those interested in a detailed evaluation of the model's updates.
