Bajaj, has unveiled its ambitious and aggressive plan to update one more model after a series of updates in its Pulsar lineup. The range this time Bajaj is looking up for modifications is Dominar range. The Dominar series, known for its blend of power, performance, and style, has garnered a devoted following since its arrival. Now, with the upcoming updates, Bajaj aims to elevate the riding experience to new heights.
Expected Launch
Bajaj is expected to launch the updated Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 in the Indian market by 2025. While enthusiasts are expecting an immediate launch, Bajaj’s ongoing plans, including introduction of the world's first CNG bike and efforts to unveil a more accessible variant of the Chetak electric scooter, will affect the launch timeline of Dominar range.
Expected Updates in Dominar 400
Bajaj has given details regarding the enhancements in Dominar lineup. From the shared insight during the launch event of Pulsar NS400Z on May 1st, 2024. Dominar 400 is expected to receive a range of cutting-edge features, including:
- Smartphone Connectivity
- New TFT Instrument Console
- Turn-by-Turn Navigation
- Basic Cruise Control and Traction Control Systems
- ABS Modes, Multiple Riding Modes, and Ride-by-Wire Throttle
The known specifications of Dominar, such as 43 mm USD forks with 135 mm travel and Nitrox monoshock suspension at the rear with 110 mm of travel, are expected to remain unchanged. The braking setup, comprising 320 mm and 230 mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively, is likely to remain unchanged, ensuring optimal safety and control.

Expected Updates in Dominar 250
Dominar 250, will receive more modest updates. These are projected to include updated LCD Instrument Cluster with Turn-by-Turn Navigation Support. The 248.77 cc engine, producing 27 PS and 23.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox, will continue to power the Dominar 250.
Its suspension setup, featuring 37 mm USD forks with 135 mm travel at the front and Nitrox monoshock suspension with 110 mm of travel at the rear, is expected to remain unchanged. The braking system, consisting of 300 mm and 230 mm discs at the front and rear respectively, will also persist.

Expected Price Details
Furthermore, the facelifted Dominar models will boast refreshed color options and graphics. With the introduction of new features and enhancements, Dominar 250 may witness a modest price increase of Rs 5,000, while the updated Dominar 400 is anticipated to incur a higher increment of Rs 15,000. At present, Dominar 250 starts at Rs 1.85 lakh, whereas Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2.31 lakh.
