Bajaj Auto has rolled out the revamped versions of its popular Pulsar NS160 and NS200 motorcycles, introducing refreshed styling and enhanced features to elevate the riding experience. With prices starting at Rs 1.46 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh respectively, these updated models aim to redefine the segment with their modernized design and advanced technology.
Key Features and Enhancements:
Distinctive LED Headlight Design: The revamped Pulsar NS160 and NS200 showcase a new LED headlight setup, featuring thunder-shaped LED DRLs that add a distinctive touch to the front profile.
Muscular Body Panels: Despite the refresh, the bikes retain their muscular body panels, exuding a sporty appeal on the road.
Potent Engine Performance: The NS160 retains its 160cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 17.03bhp and 14.6 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The NS200 houses a potent 199cc single-cylinder engine, generating 24.13 bhp and 18.74 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed gearbox, ensuring exhilarating performance on every ride.
Advanced Digital Display: A notable addition to both models is the new digital display, offering essential readouts such as speedometer, rev counter, odometer, and fuel level indicator.
With smartphone connectivity, riders can seamlessly access call and SMS notifications, enhancing convenience and connectivity on the go.
Optimal Handling and Braking: Equipped with USD front forks and a rear monoshock, along with front and rear disc brakes with ABS, the Pulsar NS160 and NS200 ensure optimal handling and braking performance.
Riding on 17-inch wheels fitted with road-biased tires, these bikes offer a perfect balance of agility and stability.
Price Adjustments
1. NS160: The updated NS160 is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom), representing a Rs 9,000 increase from its previous iteration. Despite the price adjustment, it remains competitive against rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
2. NS200: With a price tag of Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom), the NS200 sees an Rs 8,000 hike in its price. Positioned against competitors like the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Honda Hornet 2.0, the NS200 offers a compelling package of performance and features.
