BMW Group has announced it will launch 23 new products in India by the end of 2026. Eight of these models are set for release in the second quarter, from April to June. The remaining launches will occur over the following two quarters. The new models will span BMW Group brands, including BMW, BMW Motorrad, and Mini.

Upcoming Launches and New Nameplates

Of the 23 new products, six will be all-new nameplates for the Indian market. The BMW F 450 GS will debut on April 23. The BMW i5 LWB is expected later in the second quarter. The BMW iX3 is also scheduled for introduction later in 2026. Other anticipated models include the Mini Aceman EV and a non-JCW version of the Mini Countryman. Four existing products will receive comprehensive updates, with the BMW iX among them. In total, 17 models will get facelifts or model-year updates as part of the broader launch strategy.
Sales Performance in Q1 2026

BMW reported its best-ever first-quarter car sales in India, retailing 4,567 units between January and March 2026. This marks a 17 percent year-on-year increase. BMW has become the best-selling luxury carmaker in India so far in 2026, surpassing Mercedes-Benz.
BMW holds a 70 percent market share in the luxury electric vehicle segment. The company sold 1,185 electric vehicles across BMW and Mini models in Q1 2026, an 83 percent year-on-year increase. The BMW iX1 LWB was the best-selling luxury EV in India during this period.
Long wheelbase models saw strong demand, with 2,256 units sold, up 23 percent year-on-year. SUV sales reached 2,996 units, a 38 percent increase compared to the previous year. Mini recorded sales of 213 cars in the first quarter, a 42 percent year-on-year rise. BMW Motorrad delivered 1,216 motorcycles in India during the same period.
