BMW Group Posts Strong Growth in Electric Vehicles and Premium Segment in H1 2024

In the first half of 2024, BMW Group achieved a significant increase in the sales of fully electric vehicles. The company delivered 179,557 electric vehicles, marking a +34.1% increase compared to last year.

The BMW brand saw a global sales increase of +2.3%, with 1,096,486 units sold in the year's first half. The overall deliveries for BMW Group, including BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce brands, totaled 1,213,359 units.

Despite a challenging market environment, BMW Group saw sales growth in Europe and North America.

Premium Segment and BMW M Performance

MINI and Rolls-Royce Highlights
MINI brand delivered 114,054 vehicles, facing a decrease in sales due to the model changeover. Rolls-Royce launched the Cullinan Series II, maintaining its status as the most in-demand model, with 2,819 cars delivered.

BMW Group remains optimistic for the second half of 2024, supported by the availability of new models like the BMW 5 Series and the launch of the new MINI Family. The company’s diverse product portfolio and flexible drive train technologies position it well to meet global customer preferences.
