Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition Revealed With Cruise Control
Hero MotoCorp introduces the Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition in India, featuring cruise control and ride modes. This sporty 160cc bike combines style, tech, and performance.

Hero MotoCorp is making ways to broaden its product portfolio in India. The biggest two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed the all-new combat edition of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. This new edition brings a host of advanced features, including ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control, making it the first bike in its class to offer such technology. The Combat Edition also debuts a fresh design language and a new color scheme, setting it apart from the standard model and its rivals.
The bike is now more impressive with the latest iteration of cruise control. Hero aims to enhance rider comfort and convenience, especially for long highway rides. The Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition is positioned as a premium offering, targeting young riders who seek both style and cutting-edge features. Let’s check out what possible updates this bike offers compared to the standard version.
Subtle Design Changes

For the 2025 Combat Edition, the Xtreme 160R 4V offers a sharper LED headlight setup inspired by the bigger Xtreme 250R, giving it a more aggressive and premium look. With the new improvisation of the front fascia, the brand also offers a dual-tone paint scheme of light grey and neon yellow for the Xtreme 160 4V.
The instrument console is upgraded to a color LCD unit, similar to the Hero Glamour X 125 and Xtreme 250R, displaying speed, fuel level, time, gear position, tachometer, odometer, and twin tripmeters.
Advanced Tech Features

The biggest highlight of the Combat Edition is its ride-by-wire throttle system, which unlocks cruise control and three selectable riding modes: Rain, Road, and Sport. These modes allow riders to adapt the bike’s performance to different conditions, enhancing versatility and safety. The cruise control system is designed to reduce rider fatigue during long highway rides.
Hero Xtreme 160 4V: Power & Performance

Talking about its powertrain, the Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition continues to carry the same 163.2cc, air- and oil-cooled, 4-valve engine as the standard version. This engine is capable of producing 16.9 HP of power and 14.6 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike retains its hardware setup with a KYB USD fork, a monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends paired with dual-channel ABS. Similar to its existing version, the brand claims the bike can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 115 kmph and a claimed mileage of 48 kmpl.

Its aggressive styling and tech upgrades make it a strong contender against popular rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-X, and Bajaj Pulsar N160.
Conclusion
Hero’s latest launch is a clear statement of intent to lead the segment with innovation and rider-centric features, making the Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition a compelling choice for enthusiasts seeking more than just basic performance in their daily ride.
