Domestic Sales Performance

Domestic sales reached 4,069 units in April 2026, compared to 3,360 units in the same month last year. This marks a 21 percent year-on-year growth for Honda Cars India. The company credited steady demand for its Amaze, City, and Elevate models as key drivers of this growth.
Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India, stated that the new financial year began positively. He emphasized the company's confidence in maintaining this growth in the coming months.
Export Shipments Decline
While domestic sales rose, export shipments fell to 869 units in April 2026. This is a decrease from 1,511 units exported in April 2025. The decline in exports offset some of the gains made in the domestic market.
