The facelifted City and City Hybrid will retain their overall exterior design. Updates include a redesigned front fascia, new bumpers, and a revised grille. The side profile remains unchanged, but the 16-inch alloy wheels may feature a new design. At the rear, minor changes such as reprofiled taillamps and updated bumpers are expected. Honda may introduce new color options in addition to the six currently available.

Inside, the layout will stay similar to the current models. The dashboard will feature a central touchscreen infotainment system, vertical AC vents, and rotary dials for climate control. Interior updates could include new color themes, upholstery, a refreshed steering wheel, and a larger touchscreen.

Feature additions may include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree parking camera. Existing features like a semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control will continue.

Safety features are expected to include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), ISOFIX child seat mounts, blind view monitor, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold control, and Level 2 ADAS. The City Hybrid may also feature an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

Mechanically, both facelifts will use the same engines and transmissions as before. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will be available with manual and CVT options. The City facelift is expected to start at Rs 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the City Hybrid may start at Rs 20.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The City will compete with the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia. The City Hybrid has no direct rivals but could be an alternative to strong-hybrid SUVs like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, and Toyota Hyryder.

ZR-V Flagship SUV Overview

The Honda ZR-V will be sold in India as a CBU, matching the international model’s design and dimensions. The exterior features a large gloss-black grille, slim LED headlights with DRLs, and a sculpted bonnet. The SUV rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and includes gloss black body cladding and a sharkfin antenna. At the rear, it has LED taillights, a clean tailgate, and dual exhaust tips.

The ZR-V’s interior follows a clean design with a honeycomb mesh trim on the dashboard, a three-spoke steering wheel, digital driver’s display, and a free-standing touchscreen. The gear selector uses buttons instead of a traditional knob, increasing space and practicality.

Internationally, the ZR-V offers a 12-speaker Bose system, 9-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, power-adjustable front seats, wireless charger, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, heads-up display, powered tailgate, and panoramic sunroof. Safety features include 11 airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. The ZR-V received a 4-star Euro NCAP rating in 2023. The Indian version’s feature list is yet to be confirmed.

The ZR-V is expected to use a 2-litre petrol engine paired with a strong-hybrid system using two electric motors. The expected starting price is Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Skoda Kodiaq, and Jeep Meridian.
