Hyundai Creta Summer Edition launched in India with new updated features
Hyundai has launched the Creta Summer Edition in India with added tech, comfort and safety features across select lower and mid-spec variants, along with a revised price list.

Hyundai India has launched a special Summer Edition of its popular compact SUV, the Creta. This edition brings new features to several lower and mid-level trims, with prices increasing by up to Rs 58,000. The updates aim to make the Creta more competitive in a crowded segment.

Key Features Added to Variants

The Hyundai Creta Summer Edition is available on the EX, EX(O), S(O), S(O) Knight, SX, and SX Premium variants. Hyundai has introduced features from higher trims to more affordable versions.
EX Variant
The EX trim now includes keyless entry and push-button start. These features were previously available only from the S(O) trim upwards.
EX(O) Variant
The EX(O) variant gains full LED lighting, covering headlamps, DRLs, tail lamps, and turn indicators. It also receives a rear camera, rear window sunshade, and 16-inch steel wheels with dual-tone covers. These features were earlier limited to higher trims like the S(O).
S(O) and S(O) Knight Variants
Both the S(O) and S(O) Knight Edition now come with a dashcam. This feature was previously exclusive to the top-end variants.
SX Variant
The SX trim now features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. This upgrade was earlier reserved for the highest versions.
SX Premium Variant
The SX Premium variant receives advanced features such as a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, and front parking sensors. These were previously available only on the top trims.
Engine and Segment Details
The Summer Edition is offered with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Turbo-petrol options are not included in this edition. The Creta also comes in a sportier N-Line version with a turbo-petrol engine and an electric version called the Creta Electric.
The compact SUV segment has seen several new launches and updates. The Hyundai Creta faces competition from models such as the Volkswagen Taigun Facelift, Renault Duster, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Skoda Kushaq Facelift, and Maruti Victoris.
Other rivals include the Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Curvv, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and Citroen Basalt X. With these updates, Hyundai aims to maintain the Creta's strong position in the compact SUV market.
