On May 5, 2025, Jeep India launched the Wrangler Willys '41 Edition. Jeep allocated 30 units of the exclusive edition Wrangler Willys '41 Edition. Based on the latest update, all 30 units of Jeep Wrangler Willys Edition have been sold out in India, which is also in just 3 weeks after the official launch in the country.

The Willys '41 Edition was based on the brand's top-spec Rubicon trim. It was offered in "41 Green" color, exclusive to this edition. The Wrangler Willys '41 Edition looks completely different from regular models, thanks to its exclusive 1941 hood decal and military-inspired design elements.
It is the first time the American automobile manufacturer has offered this special edition color theme in its Willys '41 Edition, setting it apart from other Rubicon models and special edition series introduced by the brand. The special edition Wrangler also features a regular color scheme like grey, red, black, and white.
Along with major cosmetic upgrades, the Jeep Wrangler Willys '41 Edition gets some functional improvements like grab handles, floor mats, 1941 hood decals, front and rear dash cams, and power side steps. The automaker has also provided a Sunrider rooftop and side ladder with a roof carrier as an additional option.
Under the hood, the Wrangler Willys '41 Edition continues to get the same 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This motor setup is rated to produce 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque. It also comes mated with a 4x4 drive system for enhanced off-road capabilities.
Jeep Wrangler Willys '41 Edition was priced at Rs 73.24 lakh, ex-showroom. With the additional accessories offered, the showroom price for the Jeep Wrangler Willys '41 Edition touched Rs 77.80 lakh (or Rs 4.56 lakh extra).
In India, the race to buy limited or special edition luxury cars is rising, and it is visible through the prompt response of high-net-worth car buyers shown in recent times. The Volkswagen Golf GTI launched recently in the country and was limited to only 150 units. The first batch of Golf GTI was sold out within a few weeks. Understanding the impressive market response, brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz India are also planning to launch their limited edition models in India.
