Kawasaki has Launched Kawasaki W175 in India, Priced at Rs. 1.5 Lakh

Kawasaki has introduced Kawasaki W175, its most economical bike in the Indian market. The bike has been given a retro look and will compete against the likes of Yezdi Roadster, Royal Enfield Classic 350 & TVS Ronin.

The Kawasaki W175, the company's most economical model, has been introduced in India. The W175 is Kawasaki's entrance point into India's 'W' brand of bikes, which is a retro-inspired 'legacy' series, and it lives up to its moniker. The 'Ebony' color of the Kawasaki W175 price in India is Rs. 1,47,000/-, while the 'Candy Persimmon Red' shade price in India is Rs. 1,49,000/-. (Ex-Showroom).

The Kawasaki W175's design incorporates several vintage elements. A round halogen headlight, a circular analogue speedometer with a tiny digital inlay, front fork gaiters, and a single-piece ribbed seat are standard. The W175 is equipped with 30 mm telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers with 65 mm of travel in the rear.

The engine is a 177 cc single-cylinder air cooled engine that produces 12.9 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 13.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission. A 270 mm petal-disc brake in front and a drum brake in back handle braking responsibilities. The W175 also has single-channel ABS, however the technology available is restricted due to its historical influence. The motorbike is also incredibly light, with a kerb weight of 135 kgs, making it ideal for city commuting.
