Kia has revamped the Sonet with sharper exterior styling, focusing on both the front and rear ends. Noteworthy updates include LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and connected taillamps, adding a touch of modernity to the SUV's aesthetic. While the cabin retains its familiar layout, a revised climate control panel adds a subtle touch of sophistication.

The Sonet facelift is not just a cosmetic makeover; it's a technological leap forward. Kia has equipped the SUV with a range of advanced features, making it one of the most well-appointed vehicles in its class. Highlight is the 10.25-inch digital driver's display, complemented by a 360-degree camera, standard six airbags, and a 4-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) positions the Sonet as a trailblazer in safety technology.

Maintaining continuity with its predecessor, the Sonet facelift offers three engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. Noteworthy is the return of a proper manual transmission for the diesel variant, alongside the innovative iMT (manual without a clutch pedal) option. With power figures ranging from 83 PS to 120 PS, the Sonet promises a dynamic and versatile driving experience.

As anticipation builds, the expected price for the Kia Sonet facelift ranges from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger, the Sonet aims to carve its place as a stylish and feature-rich sub-4m SUV.
