Kia Motors shows huge momentum in July. The automotive firm saw a rise of 7.94% in Year-to-Date (YTD) sales. Since the start of this year in January, Kia has sold over 20,625 units by July 2025. This is somewhat more when compared to 20,507 units in the corresponding months of previous years.

This consistent growth reflects the brand’s ability to align its offerings with evolving customer preferences and market trends. The brand has shown an 8.0% YoY growth in July 2025.

Ranks up as the EV manufacturer

With the recent launch of the Carens Calvis, along with Kia’s first made-in-India electric MPV, the Carens Calvis EV has made a huge contribution to the overall growth of the brand. Both models have proceeded with the vehicle driving comfort, innovation, and best-in-class features on Indian roads. Kia is now the first India-manufactured mass-market electric vehicle.

Not only in the domestic market, Kia’s success can be seen globally. The brand has also exported 2,590 units in July 2025 to expand its global footprint and diversify market outreach beyond India.

From The Chief Sales Officer’s Desk

Speaking to the brand’s outlook, Mr. Joonso Cho, Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, said that “Our steady sales performance reflects the trust Indian customers continue to place in Kia. This consistency is driven by our commitment to delivering high-quality and feature-rich vehicles that meet evolving customer needs.”

The launch of the Carens Clavis EV marks an important step in Kia’s journey toward accessible and innovative mobility solutions tailored to Indian roads and lifestyles. Since the car is just in the booking period, deliveries will commence from the month of August. So it might increase the graph of sales much higher.

Conclusion

As the sales reports demonstrate, the brand has been developing customer-oriented cars. It can be seen from the sales figures. With a strong facility and dealership network, Kia has achieved such scale in the Indian automotive market.
