Mahindra BE 6e Launched at ₹18.90 Lakh: Full Details, Range, and Features

Mahindra has unveiled its highly anticipated electric coupe-SUV, the BE 6e, at an introductory price of ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Deliveries are slated to begin by late February or early March 2025. This marks the debut product under Mahindra’s all-electric BE sub-brand, designed to deliver cutting-edge design, robust performance, and long-range capability.

The BE 6e comes with an ARAI-certified range of up to 682 km, maximum power of 281 hp, and an impressive 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.7 seconds. Alongside the BE 6e, Mahindra also unveiled the XEV 9e.

Exterior Design

The BE 6e's exterior stays true to its futuristic concept, featuring:

• C-shaped LED DRLs enclosing the main headlamps.
• Illuminated Mahindra logos and sharp, edgy styling.
• Dual-tone finish with thick black cladding on the sides and front.
• 19-inch aero wheels (optional 20-inch) with a sporty diffuser-like rear bumper.
• Its aerodynamic elements, like the air duct between the headlamps that channels air through the bonnet, enhance efficiency and add to its sporty appeal.

Battery, Range, and Charging

Mahindra offers the BE 6e with two battery options:

• 59kWh: 535 km (ARAI-certified range).
• 79kWh: 682 km (ARAI-certified range).

Charging Options

• 175kW DC fast charging: 20%-80% in just 20 minutes.
• Optional 11.2kW AC charger (0-100% in 8-11.7 hours).
• Optional 7.3kW AC charger (0-100% in 8.7-11.7 hours).

The BE 6e employs Mahindra’s INGLO platform with BYD blade cell technology, delivering reliability and efficiency. It also comes with lifetime battery warranty.

Performance

The BE 6e features a compact three-in-one powertrain integrating the motor, inverter, and transmission. Performance highlights include:
