Mahindra has already released the latest teaser showcasing the rear-left profile of all 4 upcoming concept SUVs. The teaser released by the Indian SUV maker has revealed that the four new concepts include an internal combustion engine and all-electric-powered vehicles. Let us take a deep look into the insights of all these 4 SUVs and what they might offer when they go into post-development for the Indian audience.

1. Vision X

The Vision X stands out as a sleek, contemporary electric avatar of the XUV 700 segment. The latest teaser reveals its sophisticated rear design that would feature a full-width LED tail lamp, sculpted tailgate, and pronounced haunches that resemble its dynamic, rugged SUV profile. This concept car will offer aero-optimized alloy wheels and a modern, stylish appeal.

As this will be one of the concept models from the Vision family, we expect that this could be the awaited philosophy of the upcoming XEV 7e. The upcoming XEV 7e will be an affordable electric SUV alternative to the XEV 9e Coupe. Not many details are available at the moment. But while getting a glimpse of the cabin, the car will greet us with a three-screen display like the XEV 9e.

2. Vision S

Vision S

In contrast to the stylish Vision X's sporty appeal, the concept Vision S looks more like a rugged Scorpio-inspired SUV. A recent teaser shows an overhead shot showing the car’s bonnet scoops, rear door handles tucked in, and the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate. The exterior of the car will include flared wheel arches, a tall and muscular stance, and what appears to be from the front fascia. The side profile of the car may offer forged alloy wheels, which will be native to the existing Scorpio model.

As a concept SUV iteration, we cannot expect much more before the actual launch. This SUV's off-road aesthetics may carry over to the Scorpion driving DNA. The sealed-off interior could feature a minimalist cabin theme with leather upholstery. The Vision S is said to be built on Mahindra’s new NFA platform.

3. Vision T

The third concept car is set to make its official debut on Independence Day. As the abbreviation suggests, the Vision T could be the much-anticipated iteration of the Thar in its all-electric form. It will be underpinned by Mahindra’s all-new Freedom NU chassis. With its recent teaser launch, the concept unveils its boxy and rugged styling. The car could be Mahindra’s first all-wheel-drive or 4x4 electric vehicle.

The brand could also give it a dual-motor-powered EV. However, we have to wait till 15th August for the confirmation. The possible design attributes include a boxy rectangular grille and square-shaped LED headlamps. There is no information about its interiors, but we can expect that the vehicle's philosophy is inspired by the Thar-e, which Mahindra revealed back in 2023.

4. Vision SXT

Vision SXT

The Vision SXT is the final concept vehicle to be unveiled on Independence Day. As a recent teaser has been released for the third time, it reflects the rugged design similar to the Vision T. From the rear, the vehicle showcases the flatbed of the SXT with two spare wheels. It could be a Thar pick based on the Global Pickup concept.

In an earlier teaser, the brand shows a glimpse of its engine hood, characterized by two lines running through the body contours. Furthermore, the car will be complemented by a muscular design with flared wheel arches and by the presence of plastic cladding. All these hints tell us that the vehicle could be a possible off-road pickup.

Conclusion

All these 4 Vision Concept models signify the evolving approach and technological forward thinking of Mahindra as a brand. The Vision series signals a bold future that blends style, ruggedness, and advanced technology, setting a new benchmark in the SUV segment.
