Mahindra and Mahindra is going full throttle with its models and revving up to expand its automotive portfolio in India. We already have the upcoming conceptual new era of SUVs from the Indian brand, and now the brand teases the all-new BE6 to celebrate Independence Day a little earlier. The car is highly anticipated to be the upcoming BE 6 Dark Edition.
Over the past few years, Mahindra has demonstrated a visionary approach by blending style, technology, and environmental consciousness. This new iteration will be the company's firstborn electric SUV. A recent teaser has been revealed, showcasing the silhouette of the EV. Let’s take a look at what’s in the teaser and what this car has to offer Indian customers.
Advanced LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and digital cockpit instrumentation are all anticipated, making the BE 6 Dark Edition a true showstopper amongst its competitors. Currently, Mahindra offers Dark Edition variants to its XUV 700 Dark Edition, called Ebony, and the Scorpio N, called Carbon Edition.
The brand has not revealed anything related to its power unit. As it is an electric car, a major possibility is that the official specs might be unveiled at the event. Experienced automotive business analysts suggest that the Mahindra BE 6 Dark Edition will feature a refined battery pack configuration capable of producing responsive handling and spirited acceleration.
In contrast to other Mahindra EVs, the car will have one of the best battery integrations in the lineup and is expected to deliver a claimed mileage of around 600 km on a single charge. Fast-charging capabilities and refined thermal management should also be provided with the all-new BE6.
We do not have any information regarding the pricing of the particular variant of the vehicle. Currently, considering the price, at the moment, Mahindra BE6 is sold at the starting price of Rs 18.90 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The car is offered in 5 variants, such as PackOne, PackOne Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. Let us wait for the actual reveal of the car; according to the report, the brand will release this edition in the coming days.
As the new BE 6 will be launching soon, this reveal isn’t just about one SUV—it stands as a declaration of Mahindra’s broader ambitions in electric mobility. Furthermore, all eyes will be on Mahindra, as the BE 6 Dark Edition promises to electrify India’s automotive landscape. Stay tuned for more such updates on the car.
