Maruti Alto K10, Eeco, WagonR, & Celerio Now Gets 6 Airbags As Standard

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced that they have updated all the models that are sold through the Arena platform. Now, these models, which include Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Eeco, WagonR, and Celerio, now have six airbags as standard. The other models that are sold through Arena dealership also include Maruti Suzuki Swift, Dzire, and Brezza; these models also have six airbags as standard.

Besides multiple airbags, these Maruti Suzuki models now have an electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, and hill hold assist. Maruti has also offered rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, and a three-point seatbelt for all occupants. 

On this big announcement, Mr. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer at MSIL, said that India is continuously expanding modern road infrastructure, high-speed expressways, and evolving mobility patterns, implying that the need for robust safety measures has never been greater. The company is committed to meeting customer expectations and making high-end safety accessible. The Maruti Suzuki ensures the enhanced safety available for all with the decision of six airbags as standard in WagonR, Alto K10, Celerio, and Eeco

Discount Offers on Maruti Suzuki Arena Models

Along with offering six airbags and several other safety features, Maruti Suzuki offers attractive discounts on its range of Arena models. Customers who purchase these models, including WagonR and Brezza, can save up to Rs 72,000 on their purchase. The available discount offer includes instant cash discounts, corporate bonuses, exchange and scrappage incentives, and special price benefits. All Arena models, excluding Ertiga MPV and the new-generation Dzire, are eligible for these benefits. 

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara Launching Soon

Maruti is reportedly developing its inaugural EV, and it's expected to launch by September this year. The upcoming EV from Maruti Suzuki is the electric version of the Vitara and was designed by taking inspiration from the eVX concept. Maruti has also showcased a production-ready model of its e-Vitara. Initially, the first electric car from Maruti Suzuki India was expected to arrive by the first quarter of FY26. 

However, the automaker has announced a slight delay in the official launch and extended the debut date further. The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is expected to launch in September this year, possibly benefiting from the festive season in the country.
