Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelifted EQB electric SUV in India, now starting from Rs 70.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model introduces two variants: the EQB 250+ in a 7-seater configuration and the EQB 350 4MATIC AMG Line as a 5-seater option.
What’s New?
The EQB 250+ variant now features a larger 70.5 kWh battery pack, offering an extended driving range of up to 535 km (WLTP claimed). Meanwhile, the EQB 350 4MATIC (5-seater) retains the 66.5 kWh battery and showcases sportier design elements in its AMG Line trim.
Features and Updates
Both variants come equipped with a 710W 12-speaker Burmester sound system, heads-up display, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including distronic active distance assist and active lane keep assist.

Pricing and Variants
Here are the variant-wise prices for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB (ex-showroom):
- EQB 250+ 7-seater: Rs 70.90 lakh
- EQB 350 4MATIC AMG Line 5-seater: Rs 77.50 lakh
The 5-seater EQB 350 AMG Line variant is priced Rs 6.6 lakh higher than its 7-seater counterpart.
Design and Interior
The EQB’s exterior features a refreshed front grille design and new 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the AMG Line variant boasts a sporty all-black interior with a sports steering wheel and seats.
Powertrain and Range
- EQB 250+: 190 PS power, 385 Nm torque, up to 535 km range (WLTP), 2-wheel-drive (2WD)
- EQB 350 4MATIC: 292 PS power, 520 Nm torque, up to 447 km range (WLTP), all-wheel-drive (AWD)
Competition and Charging
The EQB competes with premium EVs like the Volvo XC40 Recharge and BMW iX1. Charging times vary from 32-35 minutes with a DC fast charger to 6-7 hours with an 11kW AC charger.
