The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition has been officially launched in India during the high-octane Motoverse 2025 event held in Goa. This striking new variant, inspired by rally aesthetics and infused with rugged styling cues, brings a fresh off-road-ready character to the popular Himalayan 450 successor. The Mana Black Edition targets serious riders craving a ready-to-race machine straight from the showroom.
Named after the remote village of Mana near the Indo-Tibetan border, the Mana Black Edition combines Royal Enfield’s proven Himalayan 450 mechanics with enhancements designed for tougher terrain. The Mana Black is poised to captivate adventure biking enthusiasts in India who demand both style and substance on their journeys.

The standout factor of the Mana Black Edition is the bold visual transformation that underscores its rally stance. The motorcycle boasts a blacked-out palette complemented by dark grey graphics, giving it an aggressive and stealthy appearance. Key factory-fitted accessories include full-length knuckle guards reinforced with aluminum braces, a newly designed flared tail section, and a rally-style seat raised from 35 mm to 860 mm.
Additionally, this edition arrives with tubeless cross-spoke wheels, a notable upgrade from the standard Himalayan, which typically uses tube tires. This not only enhances tire durability in rugged conditions but also reduces the kerb weight by 1 kg, now tipping the scales at 195 kg. These practical enhancements make the Mana Black Edition more than just a cosmetic upgrade.

The Mana Black retains the same tried-and-tested 452 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 40 HP of power and 40 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, ensuring strong performance across varied riding scenarios. The chassis has a suspension setup with 43 mm upside-down front forks and a mono-shock rear, and braking hardware with dual discs.

Talking about its features, the bike offers connectivity similar to the standard Himalayan 450. Riders get a circular TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth-enabled navigation using full Google Maps integration, switchable ABS modes, ride-by-wire throttle, and LED lighting all around. These features provide digital convenience combined with rugged capabilities, making the Mana Black both a smart and tough choice for adventure riders.

With a price tag of Rs 3,37,036 (ex-showroom Chennai), the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition is priced just Rs 17,354 above the Hanle Black variant. Considering the extra kit, like tubeless spoke wheels and rally accessories, this premium is a compelling value proposition.
The Mana Black Edition elevates the Himalayan 450’s off-road appeal with purposeful styling, enhanced practicality, and a competitive pricing strategy. For adventure enthusiasts keen on touring tough Indian terrains or exploring off-beat paths, this new variant delivers the right blend of ruggedness, technology, and Royal Enfield heritage at Motoverse 2025.
