Renault Kiger 2022 Facelift Launched at Starting Price of Rs 5.84 Lakh

Renault has launched MY22 Renault Kiger 2022 in India at an entry price of Rs 5.84 lakhs. The new 2022 Kiger has been given updates that we will discuss.

Renault India has finally launched their facelifted compact SUV, MY22 Kiger at an entry price of Rs 5.84 Lakhs. For Renault, Kiger has been an important product. The market cap that Kiger has generated in India, got India to Renault’s top five global markets.The design of Kiger was a result of France and India join forces. And after Kiger’s successful launch, Renault was able to revive its market in India. The design language of Kiger resembles what we have seen with Duster and Kwid. Kiger was first introduces in India than in the global markets, that shows how important is Indian market for the company.

New Features:

MY22 Kiger gets a front skid plate, tailgate chrome insert, Turbo door decals, and Diamond Cut alloy wheels. On the exterior colour front, Metal Mustard with Mystery Black roof in Dual Tone is a new option. Based on the CMFA+ platform, new 2022 Kiger features spacious legroom, cabin storage and boot space. Interior includes a new red coloured dashboard, and updated upholstery, although the car still maintains its sporty stance. Kiger also includes some smart features like wireless charging slot, advanced air filter, Multi-Sense Driving Modes, and cruise control.

Engine Specifications:

Kiger is offered in 2 engine variants – 1.0 lit energy engine (MT and AMT) and 1.0L Turbo (MT and CVT). The remaining powertrain specs are still intact which we saw in the previous version. Renault India is also the exporter of Kiger countries like South Africa, Nepal, and Indonesia.

Rivals:

The new MY22 Renault Kiger is expected to rival the likes of Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Nissan Magnite.
