Royal Enfield has achieved a new milestone by surpassing 10 lakh domestic market sales in a single fiscal year for the first time. Between April 2025 and February 2026, the company registered wholesales of 10.07 lakh units, marking a 24 percent increase year-on-year. This figure reflects only domestic sales, setting a new record for the manufacturer.

Sales Performance and Market Share

In the previous fiscal year, Royal Enfield reported total sales of 10.10 lakh units, which included 9.03 lakh domestic and 1.07 lakh export units. With March 2026 figures yet to be added, the company is expected to close FY26 with estimated domestic dispatches of 11 lakh units and exports of 1.25 lakh units.
The brand’s strength in the market is driven by its 350cc models. Of the 10.07 lakh units sold in the April 2025-February 2026 period, 9.31 lakh units—representing 92 percent of the total—came from four key models: Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350. These models together give Royal Enfield a dominant 94 percent share of the 250-350cc motorcycle segment, which saw total sales of 9.91 lakh units, up 27 percent from the previous year.
The Classic 350 leads this segment with a 40 percent share. The Bullet 350 follows with a 25 percent share, while the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 together account for the remaining 35 percent. Other manufacturers in the midsize bike category hold a combined 6 percent share.
Performance in Other Segments
In the 350-500cc category, Royal Enfield's Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan models, both with 452cc engines, recorded combined sales of 32,994 units. This is a 7 percent decrease year-on-year and gives the company a 27 percent market share in this segment. Bajaj Auto leads the 350-500cc category with a 60 percent share, selling 58,626 units.
Royal Enfield maintains its leadership in the 500-800cc segment. The company dispatched 42,640 units from its 650cc range, securing a 97 percent market share out of a total 44,156 bikes sold in this category.
Monthly Sales Trends
During the first 11 months of FY26, Royal Enfield consistently surpassed 1 lakh units in monthly dispatches for three consecutive months from August to October 2025. The highest monthly wholesale figure was recorded in October, with 1.17 lakh units dispatched.
