Skoda Auto is reportedly gearing up to launch its new-generation Kodiaq three-row SUV in April 2025. The full-size SUV will be introduced in two trims, Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement), and is expected to see premium pricing compared to its predecessors. In India, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will be offered as a CKD (completely knowledge down) unit and assembled locally. With the launch of the new Kodiaq SUV, Skoda aims to give tough competition to the Toyota Fortuner and Jeem Meridian.

Koda Kodiaq RS Launch Timeline
Skoda has also announced it will expand its Kodiaq SUV lineup by adding a top-end RS-badged version, Skoda Kodiaq RS, by the end of this year. The performance-oriented trim will feature a sportier design with larger brakes and a powerful 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine capable of delivering 265 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The Kodiaq RS SUV will be introduced in India as a CBU (completely built unit) and priced comparatively higher than the standard versions.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV Exterior Design & Specifications
The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq L&K trim was unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The SUV features Skoda's Modern Solid design language and has longer dimensions than previous models, offering better cabin and boot space. However, the Sportline variant is expected to have more subtle design changes than the L&K trim, including blacked-out elements on the grille, D-pillars, and ORVMs rather than a chrome finish and distinct alloy wheels.
The official feature list for the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV has yet to be announced. Still, the upcoming Skoda 7-seater SUV is expected to have a fully digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment, and Level 2 ADAS. The powertrain will likely receive a 2.0-liter petrol engine, a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, and a 4X4 drive system, delivering 190 bhp of power output and 320 Nm of torque.
