Tata Motors, a leading car manufacturer and obviously the leader in the domestic EV industry has achieved an amazing feat by delivering 101 EVs in a single day. This milestone has been achieved by delivering the best variety of electric vehicles in a day within the state of Tamil Nadu. The indigenous auto giant has delivered 101 EVs with 70 being Nexon EVs and 31 being the Tigor EV and all of this was achieved in an event where-in a handover ceremony was done for patrons in Chennai.
This definitely was a special day and a special feat for Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited and hence the tweet was done from Tata’s EV arm mentioning, “Tata Motors is ecstatic to help the state’s imaginative and prescient of a clear and inexperienced atmosphere by being an integral a part of this journey.” Each electrical automobile has gained immense recognition out there and proceeded to usher in huge success for the model, particularly within the EV house.Tata Motors presently sits comfortably with a market share of 85 percent in the ever-growing EV segment. This though was not the highest record from the company as earlier this month Tata was able to deliver 712 electrical automobiles to particular person prospects in Maharashtra and Goa in a single day. Tata as a brand stands strong as they currently have a portfolio consisting of seven ICE vehicles -- Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, and not just that but they have the two best-selling EVs -- Nexon EV and Tigor EV.
Tata’s Nexon EV starts from Rs.14.54 lakh and the highest available model is priced at Rs. 17.15 lakh, meanwhile Tigor EV is priced in the range of Rs. 11.99 Lakh and Rs. 13.14 lakh (all ex-showroom New Delhi)
Well, Tata has been engaged in spreading their latest electric automobiles to the Indian market effectively. And they are planning to strengthen their EV lineup with a series of launches – New Nexon EV is already in line and can be launched within the coming months, a fully electric model of Altroz, a production-ready model of Curvv electrical SUV which was just recently revealed and Sierra EV which was showcased initially on 2020 Auto Expo.
