The upcoming Tata Nexon EV is preparing for ADAS Level 2 tech features
The new Tata Nexon EV is set to revolutionize safety and convenience with Level 2 ADAS tech, offering semi-autonomous driving features and advanced driver aids for an unmatched electric SUV experience in India.

Tata Motors is all set to bring some major changes to the Nexon EV lineup. The brand has recently announced that they are ready to launch the upcoming Tata Nexon EV model with the latest ADAS Level 2 tech feature for the 2025 edition. This will mark a significant push towards enhanced safety and cutting-edge technology for Indian electric vehicles.
The latest iteration of the Nexon EV top-end models will receive the ADAS Level 2 as an additional feature that will strengthen the vehicles’ position as one of the most feature-rich and advanced EVs for Indian customers. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming updates and tech features being received by the Tata Nexon EV in the upcoming weekends.
Level 2 ADAS: What to Expect in the New Nexon EV
The Tata Nexon EV is one of the best-selling subcompact electric vehicles in the Indian market, and with the integration of Level 2 ADAS, it will position the Nexon EV as one of the best EV offerings with the latest technology and safety features. As per the latest reports, the upcoming 2025 Tata Nexon EV Empowered+ A 45 will be the first Tata Nexon variant that will be equipped with the latest ADAS Level 2 suite.
With the addition of the Level 2 ADAS, the vehicle will also offer adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking. These features collectively support partial driving automation, allowing the car to assist with acceleration, braking, and steering in certain conditions. However, with such enriched features, the models are expected to see a modest price increase. Yet, Tata Motors is likely to keep the price in a competitive range.
Powertrain and Battery
The upcoming Nexon EV will have an additional feature to be introduced in the top-end variant. However, there will be no change in the mechanical department under the hood. The car will be powered by a 45 kWh battery pack, delivering an ARAI-claimed range of 350-370 km on a single charge. This electric motor produces 145 HP along with 215 Nm of maximum torque.
Charging efficiency remains a key highlight with 60 kW DC fast charging capability that allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. Furthermore, the ADAS Level 2-equipped Nexon EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds.
Modern Tech & Comfort

The upcoming ADAS Level 2 upgrade will add semi-autonomous functions. Inside the cabin, you might experience a dual-tone color scheme with premium leather upholstery within the package. The dashboard boasts a 12.3-inch cinematic touchscreen infotainment system powered by Harman, integrated with a JBL sound system with subwoofer. Other premium features include voice assistant support, a 360-degree camera, front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and V2V, along with V2L charging capability.
Conclusion
As competition among electric SUVs heats up, Tata Motors signals its commitment to advancing electric vehicle technology while addressing growing consumer expectations for smarter, safer cars. This upgrade not only reinforces the Nexon EV’s competitive edge but also advances India’s journey toward widespread adoption of intelligent electric mobility solutions.
The Nexon EV with Level 2 ADAS is expected to launch shortly, bolstering Tata’s portfolio with a tech-forward flagship that continues to set benchmarks in safety, performance, and innovation.
