Toyota Motors India has recently announced that the company will fully pass on the benefits of the recent changes made in the GST tax slabs by the government of India. The new substantial reduction in prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025. These revised prices are set to enhance car affordability and offer renewed consumer enthusiasm nationwide.

After the recent changes made in the GST tax slab, the brand will eventually announce the expected price drops across all the cars and SUVs under the portfolio. As confidence climbs across the sector, the company’s transparency and proactive approach underscore its dedication to making world-class mobility solutions accessible and catering to a larger audience.

GST 2.0: Toyota’s Customer-Centric Response

Toyota’s Vice President, Varindra Wadhwa, stated that with the latest introduction of the GST 2.0 at the 56th GST Council Meeting, the company expressed deep appreciation for the government of India. With the latest GST reforms in 2025, the company’s intent will be customer-centric and will surely deliver tangible value to the buyers with any cars or SUVs under the portfolio.

He later added to the media that the price reductions would be a stronger support when it comes to demand and also aim to elevate consumer sentiment, especially as buyers are making plans to bring home the new Toyota for the upcoming festive season.

Toyota GST 2.0 Prices

With the implementation of the new GST reforms, many cars with specifications up to 1200 cc in petrol and 1500 cc in diesel will be integrated under the 18% GST tax slab. This will gradually help Toyota as an automotive brand, as most of its entire domestic and CBU range will now be taken into consideration as the prices drop.

Leading the reductions are the Fortuner and Legender, with benefits of reduction up to Rs 3,49,000 and Rs 3,34,000, respectively, while other favorites like the Hycross, Hilux, and Crysta also see meaningful decreases. The potential price reductions on Toyota vehicles are listed below:
