Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has revealed the latest reports on the sales figures performed by the brand in August 2025. The new report states that Toyota has positioned itself as resilient and shows a 2.5% surge in growth sales for August 2025. Marking an 11% year-on-year increase over August 2024. Toyota has been able to achieve such a result because of its popularity and customer satisfaction.
When Toyota announced that the majority of the 14% increase in sales had been attained in the first eight months of the 2025 edition, the brand's tenacity had already gained attention. This strategic momentum comes due to the product initiatives and commitment to innovation. In August, most models rose by 0.49% in sales when compared to July 2025.
August 2025 Sales Performance
As per the official sales reports summoned by the brand, Toyota was able to sell around 29,302 models domestically and 4,934 units for export. With both import and export, the carmaker made a prominent move that aims to focus on both the domestic and international markets. Considering the sales from August 2024, Toyota sold over 30,879 units when compared with 34,236 units in 2025.
Toyota has shown a significant increase in terms of sales figures from January 2025 to July 2025. The brand actually sold around 241,696 units of vehicles across the nation. Under the same duration of period in 2024, the brand managed to sell only 212,785 units, which is very low compared to 2025. This growth trajectory reinforces Toyota’s position as a key player in India’s automotive landscape, powered by a compelling product lineup and timely innovations.

Speaking about the sales performances of August 2025, Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales Services of Used Car Business, said, “We are very delighted that our brand has reached the market of 34,236 units in August 2025. This month will be very important for us, as we will closely analyze the market trends.”
He later added, “At Toyota, our main focus remains on innovation and technological advancement. With this, Toyota might introduce adding value and services in the upcoming festive season. With a new hope of uplifting customer sentiment and making purchase decisions easier and transparent.

These sales figures are not just numbers; they are iconic milestones acquired by the brand. Recently, the Toyota Innova completed 20 years in India, with over 12 lakh customers onboard. Even its popular compact SUV, the Urban Cruiser Taisor, was introduced in an all-new Bluish Black exterior paint scheme and now offers 6 airbags as standard.
Adding to the excitement, the launch of the Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle Sprint Edition, which catered to luxury sedan enthusiasts, boasted sales figures. As a cooperative auto manufacturer, Toyota has collaborated with the Make-In-India initiative and boosted the exportation system with a Wharfage Rate Agreement with Kamaraja Port Limited (KPL).
