Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a partnership with Anime India 2026, a multi-city anime convention series organized by Animation Express. This collaboration aims to strengthen Toyota's engagement with younger consumers through experiential marketing at events nationwide.

The partnership will launch at Anime India Delhi, scheduled for June 6–7 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. At the event, Toyota will showcase the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Glanza, and Urban Cruiser Taisor at dedicated stalls. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will serve as the centerpiece of Toyota's main exhibition area.

Event Activities and Vehicle Displays

Visitors to the Toyota exhibition can participate in interactive activities such as quizzes, spin-the-wheel contests, and stamp rallies. Toyota will also display vehicles wrapped in anime-themed designs inspired by popular series. These installations aim to connect with fans of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture.

The event will feature a J-pop concert by Japanese artist Yurika and the India debut of Japanese voice actor Inoue Kazuhiko, known for voicing Kakashi in Naruto. These attractions are expected to draw large crowds and enhance the overall experience for attendees.

According to event organizers, Anime India has attracted over 60,000 attendees across its previous two editions. The convention focuses on anime, manga, gaming, and Japanese popular culture, drawing fans, creators, cosplayers, and international participants.

Toyota's executive vice president, Sabari Manohar, stated that Anime India offers a unique platform to engage with a passionate community that values creativity, self-expression, and contemporary pop culture. This partnership reflects a broader trend among automakers to use pop culture events and community experiences to reach younger audiences beyond traditional marketing channels.

By participating in Anime India 2026, Toyota aims to enhance its brand presence among younger consumers and foster deeper connections through immersive and culturally relevant experiences.
