Vespa 140th of Piaggio Special Edition Introduces in 66 countries, to arrive in India or not

The iconic scooter brand Vespa has launched a special edition Vespa model named “Vespa 140th of Piaggio”, The step has been taken to mark the significant milestone of 140 years of legendary journey, alongside its parent company Piaggio.

This limited edition will be available in only 140 units to be delivered worldwide in 66 countries. The booking window is open from April 18th to April 21st, 2024 for those who want to add this limited edition scooter in their collection. Unfortunately, no allocation has been reserved for the Indian market.

Styling Inspired by Tradition, Crafted for Modernity

Easily differentiable with its distinguished bespoke body graphics, the Vespa 140th edition emanates exclusivity. Adorned in a pristine white hue with vibrant blue accents, this model exudes a youthful and sporty demeanor. Notably, the rear fender proudly bears the '140' branding, symbolizing Piaggio's rich heritage.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless Vespa 300 GTV, the design seamlessly melds classic aesthetics with contemporary flair. Signature features include a circular headlamp, integrated turn indicators, a scooped racing seat, and stylish blue alloy wheel rims.

Performance Meets Precision

Underneath its elegant exterior lies a potent heart – a 278cc e single-cylinder engine generating 23.8 bhp at 8,250 rpm and a torque of 26 Nm at 5,250 rpm. Paired with a CVT automatic gearbox, the Vespa 140th promises a dynamic ride. Its fuel-efficient nature, boasting 30.3 km/l, ensures both sustainability and performance.

Beyond its powertrain prowess, the Vespa 140th edition dazzles with its array of advanced features. Full LED illumination, a digital instrument panel, keyless start/stop system, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, and an anti-lock braking system redefine the standard for urban mobility.
