VinFast India is gearing up for the launch of its latest electric vehicle in India, the Limo Green electric MPV, scheduled for February 2026. This seven-seater MPV aims to strengthen VinFast's presence in India's competitive family EV segment. Positioned alongside the VF6 and VF7 SUVs, the Limo Green offers a spacious, feature-rich alternative that appeals to families and fleet operators alike.

VinFast's strategy in India is focused on rapid expansion, with plans to introduce a new electric vehicle approximately every six months. The Limo Green's launch not only adds diversity to the brand's portfolio but also coincides with VinFast's entry into the shared mobility space through its upcoming ride-hailing service, Green and Smart Mobility.

Refreshed Design

The VinFast Limo Green electric MPV features a sleek, minimalist design with the brand's signature "V"-shaped LED daytime running lights stretching across the front. It showcases a clean, modern fascia with vertical headlamp units and muscular side cladding, combining robustness with style. The squared-off rear maximizes interior space, complemented by 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, and integrated rear parking sensors with a reversing camera.

The Limo Green is powered by a 60.1 kWh battery pack paired with a front-wheel-drive setup. Its electric motor generates 201 HP and 280 Nm of torque, offering a balance of power and efficiency. The MPV claims an approximate range of 450 km on a single charge under NEDC standards, with fast-charging capabilities that allow the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes. This range and charging speed make it a practical option for Indian families and fleet use.

Market Positioning and Competition

In India, the Limo Green will compete against family-oriented electric MPVs like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax 7. With its spacious three-row seating, modern features, and competitive electric powertrain, it aims to capture the attention of both private buyers and commercial fleet operators. VinFast has already established a network of 26 dealerships across India, facilitating sales and service.
