Honda Motor Company recently launched the ADV 160 maxi scooter in the Indonesian market at a price of IDR 36M (Indonesian Rupiah) which equals to INR 1.9 lakh, after releasing quite a few teasers of the much-awaited scooter for the last couple of months. The new 2022 Honda ADV 160 scooter is now being sold in place of the previous Honda ADV 150 maxi scooter.
2022 HONDA ADV 160 FEATURES:
In the first look, the new Honda 160 ADV is not very different visually compared to the ADV 150. The Honda ADV features that are retained include split headlights with LED lights and LED daytime running lights.
But yes, Honda has indeed incorporated some small tweaks to the body panels, which are little bit in an angle, and also includes a larger windshield and bigger space under the seat.
In terms of equipment, the Honda ADV 160 features a fully digital display console, twin channel Anit Lock Braking System and a traction control mechanism also.
The Honda ADV160 customers will also be able to access a big 30 litre storage space under the seat and a decently low seat height of 785mm is user-friendly, which allows the rider to tame the scooter even more easily.

HONDA ADV 160 MAXI SCOOTER ENGINE:
Having said that, in comparison with the ADV 150 scooter, the ADV160 scooter engine has a larger and more powerful motor as well. The ADV 160 Honda scooter engine derives power from the same liquid cooled 156cc motor that produces 16 BHP of maximum power and 14.7 Nm of peak torque, that makes it a more powerful Honda scooter model by 1.4 BHP and 0.9 Nm in comparison with the outgoing Honda scooter model.

FUTURE OF HONDA ADV MAXI SCOOTERS IN INDIA:
It is interesting to note that HMSIL or Honda India recently submitted design patents of the ADV 150 maxi scooter in India. But unfortunately, there is no news on the launch of the scooter in India in the near future.
