Yamaha has introduced the 2024 version of its beloved Vino 50cc scooter in its home market of Japan, offering riders a blend of retro styling, fuel efficiency, and utility features. With the addition of three new captivating colors and a host of functional upgrades, the Vino retains its status as a popular choice among riders seeking a compact and efficient mode of urban transportation.
New Color Options Elevate Style
The 2024 Yamaha Vino debuts with three fresh color options, including Fighting Red, Puko Blue, and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic. The Matte Blue shade steals the spotlight with its eye-catching Cyan and Gray graphics, complemented by chrome finishing on various components, exuding a timeless appeal. Additionally, the glossy finish of the new Red color, coupled with black and silver graphics, accentuates the scooter's sleek profile. The more subdued Puco Blue rounds out the trio, offering a classic aesthetic that resonates with the Vino's retro design ethos.

Expansive Color Palette
In addition to the new color options, the 2024 Vino offers a diverse range of hues, including Mahogany Brown Metallic, Harvest Beige, and Graphite Black. The removal of three color options from the previous model streamlines the lineup, resulting in a total of six captivating choices for riders to personalize their Vino according to their preferences.

Enhanced Utility and Convenience
The 2024 Vino retains its reputation for utility with thoughtful features designed to enhance the rider's experience. A dedicated space for a 500ml plastic bottle, a hook for hanging items, and a glove box with a 12v accessory socket cater to the practical needs of urban commuters. The scooter's under-seat storage, measuring approximately 20 liters, provides ample space for essentials, including a half-face helmet. A retro-styled semi-digital instrument console offers essential information, while an engine idling stop system contributes to fuel savings.
Performance and Efficiency
Powering the Yamaha Vino is a 49cc, single-cylinder, SOHC engine delivering 4.5 PS of maximum power and 4.1 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a V-belt type continuously variable speed transmission, the scooter offers agile performance suited for urban environments. With a fuel efficiency rating of 58.4km/L according to WMTC standards, the Vino promises economical operation without compromising on fun. Drum brakes at both ends ensure reliable stopping power, while the scooter's lightweight construction, weighing just 81 kg, and accessible seat height of 720.
