The Yamaha WR 155R launch date has not been announced yet. It is an entry-level rally bike that shares its engine with the Yamaha R15 V4 sports bike. This bike is designed to offer a balance of performance and efficiency for off-road adventures.

Introduction

WR 155R is inspired by the WRC bikes and the first bike championship bikes. It has a sleek and minimal design with lightweight body panels and cradle chassis frame. The bike aims to attract the young and adventurous riders who want to explore the off-road trails.

Variant and Color

It is likely to be available in a single variant with two color options: Racing Blue and Extreme Red. The bike will have blacked-out components such as the engine, exhaust, wheels, and frame. The color options will add a contrast to the bike's appearance.

Engine and Power

It will be powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 16.5 BHP of power and 14.3 Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with the patented VVA technology that enhances the power delivery and efficiency. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that offers smooth and precise shifting.

Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity

WR 155R is expected to offer a fuel efficiency of around 40 kmpl, which is decent for an off-road bike. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 8.1 liters, which gives it a range of around 320 km on a full tank. The bike also has a low fuel indicator and reserve fuel warning.

It will have a wheel size of 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. The wheels are made of lightweight alloy and have spokes that add strength and durability. The bike has a kerb weight of 134 kg, which makes it easy to handle and maneuver.
