A five-seater sedan comes integrated with passive safety features into the basic building blocks of the car. The classy and understated designed makes it stand out. The Fiat sedan was offered in three variants of Active, Dynamic, and Emotion. The price started from Rs 7.15 lakh onwards upto Rs 9.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and was offered in both petrol and diesel engines. While the 1.4-litre petrol engine unit was rated at 90PS/115Nm, on the other hand, the diesel engine generated 93PS/209Nm. All these engines came coupled with a 5-speed MT. The claimed mileage stood at 14.9kmpl, 14.2kmpl, and 20kmpl respectively thereby attracting lot of customers. Fiat came housed with standard features like a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, auto AC with rear AC vent, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control. Security elements on offer included ABS with EBD and dual front airbags for immediate safety. Sedans like the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, VW Vento, Skoda Rapid, and Hyundai Verna are couple of direct competitors. The exterior layout is clean as ever with the new addition being the ‘125 S’ plastic sticker that rests below the T-Jet badge on the boot. Talking about the exterior, Fiat did a great job with the new model and gave a rare dashboard that’s looks beautiful and pretty. The cabin is consistent of simple appearance and with the addition of new 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation that is a differentiator, and it gets a much-needed dose of super functionality sedan as well. The Linea gives you so called desirable Euro-car ride quality that deals with potholes and road imperfections very nicely, ensuring comfort and safety in the cabin. The overall performance is dynamically sorted with a great ride and handling package.
