Battery & Range

The Defy is powered by a 90kWh battery pack and a dual-electric motor configuration with 402bhp and 620Nm of torque. The SUV boasts a range of more than 500 kilometers. It even claims to go from 0 to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 210kmph. The Defy claims to take half an hour to charge from zero to 80% using a 160kW DC fast charger.

According to Pravaig, the Defy SUV is constructed on a specific skateboard platform that was created from the ground up. Because it is a skateboard, the battery is positioned in the center of the SUV, freeing up space for luggage and occupants. The same platform might also serve as the foundation for future goods.

Ride & Handling

The Pravaig Defy SUV is powered by two electric motors that produce 407hp and 620Nm. With this amount of power, the Defy competes with SUVs like the Jaguar iPace, Audi e-tron, and Mercedes-Benz EQC. The SUV also has three degrees of regeneration, allowing for one-pedal driving, as well as four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and ESP.

The interior of the Defy SUV is constructed of sustainable fabrics (recycled materials such as PET), and the upholstery is vegan leather. Exterior Design

The Pravaig Defy features angular styling that gives it a butch appearance with crossover characteristics. The aesthetic theme is called "brutal sophistication" by the brand, but the SUV does contain some styling elements that resemble Range Rover SUVs. The front style has sharp cuts and an LED light bar that spans its width.

In terms of profile, the upper half of the SUV is painted black, and the glasshouse appears large, but the angular windows and sloping roof give it a dynamic appearance. A strong character line extends across the width of the rear fender and perfectly integrates with the tailgate and horizontally mounted LED light bar.

The SUV has a "particularly dynamic" design, according to Pravaig, with a drag coefficient of 0.33. The manufacturer also stated that the Defy SUV borrows aesthetic influences from the Extinction MK1, their EV sportscar demonstrator that we previously drove. The SUV will come standard with a panoramic fixed roof.

The Defy EV SUV is outfitted with 18-inch alloy wheels and 255/65R18 tires. It also has optional "aero covers," which the brand claims will add 10km or more range per charge, especially on the highway.
