The STD variant uses the smaller engine, whereas the Climber and RXT variants use the more powerful ones. These engines ensure high mileage efficiency, with the Kwid producing more than 21kmpl to qualify as a better performer in the fuel efficiency segment than the Polo.

The Volkswagen Polo is a safer car than the Kwid. The top-end Kwid comes at Rs 5.48 lakhs, whereas the high-end Polo is available for Rs 10 lakhs.
