Inside, the new Kushaq adopts a revised color scheme, with minimal changes to the existing layout. The cabin features leatherette upholstery and new dual-tone ambient lighting, contributing to a more upscale atmosphere. Key interior features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a 6-speaker sound system, automatic climate control with rear vents, cruise control, connected car technology, and a wireless phone charger.

A notable addition is the introduction of a massaging function for the rear seats, a first in this segment. This feature is expected to appeal particularly to customers who prefer to be chauffeur-driven, offering a level of comfort typically associated with luxury vehicles.

Safety Features

The 2026 Kushaq is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including six airbags as standard, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), electronic stability control, hill start assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and front parking sensors.

All four-wheel disc brakes are available exclusively on the 1.5-liter TSI variant. However, the absence of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a 360-degree camera may affect its appeal to some buyers.

Engine and Transmission Updates

The Kushaq continues to offer its range of turbocharged engines. For the 2026 update, Skoda has upgraded the 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with the 1-liter TSI engine to a new 8-speed unit, aiming to deliver smoother gear shifts. Other engine and transmission options remain unchanged, providing customers with a familiar yet refined driving experience.

Additionally, it continues to rival established contenders such as the Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and MG Astor.
