The 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment in India recorded robust growth in February 2026, with total sales reaching 1,07,511 units. This represents a 21.68% increase over the 88,358 units sold in February 2025. Royal Enfield remains the dominant force, but competitors such as Honda, Harley-Davidson, and Triumph are expanding their presence.

Royal Enfield Maintains Market Leadership
Royal Enfield continues to lead the segment with several models occupying top positions. The Classic 350 was the best-selling model, registering 34,307 units and an 11.96% year-on-year growth. The Bullet 350 followed with 21,821 units, up 13.39%. The Hunter 350 saw strong demand, selling 20,234 units and growing 21.90%. The Meteor 350 recorded 8,817 units, an increase of 22.34%.
Combined, these four Royal Enfield models account for a significant portion of the segment's total sales. The Himalayan posted 2,123 units, a slight decline of 1.62%. The Guerrilla, a newer model, achieved 759 units, growing 22.22% year-on-year.
Competitors Show Strong Growth
Honda's CB350 stood out with a 255.20% year-on-year increase, reaching 4,099 units. However, the H’ness 350 declined by 14.86% to 1,736 units, suggesting a shift in consumer preference within Honda's lineup. Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA combined saw sales rise by 90.13% to 4,468 units.
Harley-Davidson's X440 posted the highest growth rate at 214.85%, selling 2,078 units. Triumph's 400 range continued to gain traction, with 4,794 units sold and a 31.67% increase. KTM's 390 model recorded 1,326 units, up 41.06% year-on-year. Bajaj's Dominar 400 remained stable at 386 units, while the Pulsar 400 declined by 20.90%.
Aprilia's RS 457 and Tuono 457 models saw flat to negative growth. Husqvarna 401 and Kawasaki's Ninja, Eliminator, and KLX models also reported lower volumes. Hero's Mavrick registered zero sales in February 2026, compared to 52 units in the previous year.
Market Share and Segment Trends
Royal Enfield accounted for 88,061 units in the segment, with a year-on-year growth of 15.16%. While it remains the market leader, its growth rate is lower than some rivals. The combined Bajaj-KTM-Triumph group posted 26.86% growth, driven by Triumph 400 and KTM 390.
Honda achieved 82.73% growth, led by the CB350. Jawa-Yezdi-BSA saw a 90.13% increase, indicating a recovery and growing appeal. Harley-Davidson recorded the highest growth rate, though from a smaller base. Aprilia, Husqvarna, and Kawasaki continue to operate at low volumes with declining sales. Hero's Mavrick saw no sales, pointing to possible demand or supply challenges.
While Royal Enfield leads in absolute numbers, the segment is diversifying. Multiple brands are gaining ground, especially in the entry-premium and lifestyle motorcycle categories.
