Ampere moved one step forward toward electric mobility expansion, by trademarking two new manes, ‘Aspirus’ and ‘Nexus’ in India. The trademark has been secured for future names of the upcoming e-scooters of Ampere. However, this move has hinted at the development of an e-scooter based on the NXG concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Ampere's 'NEX Big Thing'
The trademark for Ampere Aspirus was obtained in December 2023, while the approval for the Nexus name came through in April of the same year. This move showcases the competitive vision of Ampere to expand its vehicle portfolio to dominate the e-automotive sector.
The upcoming scooters which are based on the NXG concept are bound to become the flagship offerings from Ampere. The company has even addressed the scooter as the ‘NEX big thing’.


Features Expected
Among the expected features, we can get to see the new upcoming scooter with touchscreen dashboard, comprehensive all-LED lighting system, front disc brake for enhanced safety, and a signature LED DRL design to ensure visibility and style.
