Hyundai Delivers 10,293 Cars to Its Customers This Dhanteras

Recently, the leading carmaker announced the six airbags as standard in all its models available in India, strengthening the safety features for the buyers. The carmaker has a wide portfolio of passenger vehicles, including the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Exter, i20, Alcazar, Verna, Creta, and Kona Electric. Most of these Hyundai cars in India are already popular in the market and are on a considerable waiting period.

Speaking on record deliveries on Dhanteras, Tarun Garg, COO at Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said that the company marked the auspicious day with the deliveries of an unprecedented 10,293 cars, surpassing last year’s figures by more than double. The number states the admiration of customers has shown for the Hyundai. He also stated that the announcement of six airbags as standard has increased the sales of Hyundai cars in India.

Hyundai is the second largest carmaker after Maruti Suzuki and has a significant market share in India. The carmaker also holds the position of largest car exporter. In October 2023, the domestic sales for Hyundai cars stood at 55,128 units, a 15% increase YoY compared to 48,001 units in October 2022. Additionally, the exports during the same period were recorded at 13,600 units, 35% up from 10,005 units last year for the same month.

Hyundai India expects to close the festive season sales at a high. It has also announced several offers for the customers, providing benefits of Rs 10,000 to Rs 2 lakh based on the models the customers choose.
