After putting the BMW i5 through its paces, I can confidently say it is a masterful luxury sports sedan. The dual-motor setup delivering 601 horsepower is downright explosive, silently rocketing you to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds with incredible poise. Around the city, the adaptive air suspension magically irons out broken Indian roads, offering a surprisingly plush ride despite those 20-inch alloys. However, there are compromises. Spirited driving will quickly drain the claimed 516 km range to well under 400 km in the real world, and its low stance demands caution over tall speed breakers. If you crave hair-raising performance, cutting-edge tech, and sheer driving pleasure, this 1.20 crore electric powerhouse is absolutely worth the premium.
