Kia has teased with a picture wherein an apple is placed above a book with a copy stating, “The one who asked, “Why?”. We are speculating the copy is about Newton’s law of gravity. This image was posted on Kia Motors India official Instagram page and hence, we are expecting this variant to arrive soon in India.

Kia Seltos compact SUV instantly became the best seller. It helped Kia in grabbing a firmer foundation in India. However, this best best seller got overshadowed by the 2nd generation of previous bestseller i.e. Hyundai Creta, making it rank 2nd.
To get the ranking back, Kia is working hard and will be releasing an updated top end trim to get the proportioned with the Hyundai Creta SUV. With the April 2021 update, Kia Seltos will have a panoramic sunroof, new Kia logo, redesigned 17 inch Alloy wheels, and new colour updates.
The Kia Seltos Gravity edition will be packed with a grey theme interior, chrome studded radiator grille, 18-inch machined alloy wheels, and silver finish on door handles & ORVM. This variant is expected to find its place above the top end trim.
On the mechanical and features front, the Kia Seltos Gravity edition will remain unchanged. It will continue to get 3 engine options; 1.5-litre petrol unit with 115PS of power and 142Nm of torque, the 1.5-litre diesel engine with 115PS and 250Nm of torque and 1.4-litre turbo petrol with 140PS of power and 242Nm of torque. While these engines get a CVT, torque converter and 7-speed DCT transmissions respectively, a 6-speed manual gearbox is standard across the range.

In terms of features, the car is loaded to the brim and you won’t get anything to complain about. To name a few of the exclusive features, it gets a 10.25-inch touch infotainment display with Bose (for HTX and GTX) or Arkemys (others) sound system, air purifier system, Cruise control, 16/17 inch Alloy wheels, LED headlamps, tail lamps and fog lamps, etc.
