Mahindra & Mahindra is making plans to introduce the new models for the festive season. Meanwhile, many of its vehicles rank high on the anticipation list among fans and customers. As per the recent reports, a facelifted XUV 700 has been spied for the first time ever before its official debut. The D-segment SUV has been on the run since its launch in 2021.

The recent fresh spy shots have captured the facelifted version out in the wild, cloaked in camouflage yet teasing enthusiasts and industry insiders with glimpses of striking new design elements and innovative interior features. The spied pre-production unit signifies Mahindra’s pursuit of technological advancement and premium to expand its market further in the SUV segment. Let's take a look at the latest spy shots to see what this car will offer with the upcoming facelift updates.

Design & Styling

The recently spied test mule reveals a new design for the front grille. As the car was heavily camouflaged, we can assure you that the design of the new XUV 700 will now be sportier and funkier in appeal. The front fascia of the car comes with stylish twin-pod LED headlamps with integrated DRLs. At the rear, the brand offers the same rear light configuration as the existing model.

The facelift model will include major design changes, such as a revamped front and rear bumper. Camouflaged prototypes also reveal new alloy wheels, with more than one design hinting at variant-specific options. The upcoming XUV 700 showcases a shark-fin antenna, a rear spoiler, a rear washer, and a rear wiper.

Future-Ready Cabin

The most sophisticated updates will be inside the cabin. The XUV 700 upcoming iteration will receive the most talked-about feature, i.e., the triple-screen dashboard setup, inspired by the segment’s first XEV 9e. This layout is expected to comprise three 12.3-inch displays, offering separate zones for infotainment, the digital instrument cluster, and even co-passenger entertainment.

Mahindra is making plans to provide the best possible functions out there. We can also see ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers. Even an additional upgraded Harman/Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos is likely to be present as standard across the model. Furthermore, subtle interior style enhancements, including new upholstery and revised AC vents, are expected to elevate the cabin's premium experience.

Mahindra XUV 700 Facelift: What’s under the hood?

Under the hood, everything remains the same. The upcoming XUV 700 facelift will be powered by the same 2.0-liter turbo petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel engine for the 2025 season. Both engines will be paired with the MT as standard, and an option for AMT might be available for Indian customers.

CarBike360 Says

The upcoming iteration of the Mahindra XUV 700 is ready to rock the stage with its updated features and refined performance. With new exterior tweaks and an updated interior, it wants to keep the SUV in the game with its old rivals. Once launched, let us see how this iteration of the XUV 700 will perform in the market.
