JSW MG Motor India has expanded its Windsor EV lineup by launching MG Windsor Exclusive Pro. The latest variant is positioned between the Essence and Essence Pro variants. MG Motor has priced its Windsor EV Exclusive Pro at Rs 17.25 lakh, Rs 85,000 less than the recently introduced Windsor EV Essence Pro. With the latest addition, there are now five main variants of MG Windsor EV; three are available with a 38kWh battery pack, and two, the latest ones, are offered with a 52.9kWh battery.

MG Winsor Exclusive Pro
MG Windsor EV has five variants: Excite, Exclusive, Essence, Essence Pro, and the newly launched Exclusive Pro. Like Essence Pro, the Windsor Exclusive Pro is based on Windsor Exclusive. It has additional features and a larger battery pack for extended range capacity.
The Exclusive Pro costs Rs 2.20 lakh more than the Exclusive trim. While the ex-showroom price for the variant is kept at Rs 17.25 lakh, the customers can purchase the model at Rs 12.24 lakh under the brand’s BaaS rental scheme, where they are required to pay an additional Rs 4.5/km battery rental fees.

One more noticeable aspect is that the Exclusive Pro has a 9-speaker sound system, while the Exclusive variant only has 6 speakers. The 9-speaker Infinity sound system includes four standard speakers, four tweeters, and a subwoofer for an immersive experience inside the cabin.
MG Motor has offered ambient lighting and dual-tone interior upholstery similar to the top-spec Essence variant. The interior features, like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera, have been borrowed from the Exclusive trim.
Compared to the range-topper Essence Pro, the Windsor Exclusive Pro does not receive a sunroof, ventilated front seats, a PM2.5 air filter, and an ADAS suite.
The customers have three color options: Pearl White, Starry Black, and Turquoise Green. MG Motor has commenced the bookings for Windsor Exclusive Pro for a token amount of Rs 11,000, while the deliveries for this variant are scheduled for the first week of June 2025.
Now, the customers looking to buy Windsor EVs have 5 variants to choose from, depending on their needs and budget. The ex-showroom price for the Windsor EV now ranges from Rs 14 lakh to Rs 18.10 lakh. With the addition of Exclusive Pro, the EV positions itself as a strong competitor of the Tata Nexon EV, which is available at Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 17.19 lakh.
