Nissan is making ways to expand its business portfolio in India. The Japanese carmaker is gearing up to unveil its new C-SUV in the Indian automotive landscape. Nissan already announced its plan for the launch of the SUV earlier, and several test spy shots were revealed on social media. Now, the brand itself is ready to unveil the vehicle on October 7, 2025.
This all-new model aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in India’s competitive mid-size SUV market. The demand for feature-rich, fashionable, and high-end cars is driving the rapid growth in sales figures for this C-segment SUV. Positioned above its sub-four-meter sibling. The model is expected to bring a fresh design language, advanced comfort features, and modern powertrains. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Nissan C-SUV.
Nissan New C-SUV: Bold New Design

According to the test mule spied earlier while testing, the vehicle might retain its overall design, and there might be subtle changes to the exterior design of the car. However, the overall silhouette of the car seems to be carried over from the current-gen Renault Duster. From the design, we can conclude that the front fascia of the car might come with a flat rectangular grill, LED reflectors, and L-shaped DRLs.
The SUV will likely be positioned to appeal to younger buyers who demand both style and substance. Making it a strong contender against established rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. Talking about the side profile of the car, the vehicle will receive the door handles integrated on the C-pillars. At the rear, the car offers the same rectangular-shaped taillights with connected LED DRLs.

Other highlights are likely to include ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and generous space for rear passengers. For safety, the car might offer 6 airbags as standard with a 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, and an ADAS suite of features.
Powertrain choices

The SUV is expected to be powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with both manual and CVT options. A turbo-petrol variant may also be introduced to match segment demands. No further details are disclosed by the brand.
Expected pricing and rivals
The Nissan C-SUV will compete head-to-head with established leaders like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. The car might be priced at Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, depending on the engine configuration and the car’s setup.
