The Nissan X-Trail has officially launched in India. It will be a fully built unit (CBU) and will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster. First introduced globally in 2021 and facelifted in 2022, the X-Trail's deliveries will start later this month. Here's all the information you need about its price, features, powertrain, and more.

The Nissan X-Trail features a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 163 ps of power and 300 Nm of torque. It includes a third-gen Xtronic CVT with D-Step logic control and paddle shifters, along with mild-hybrid technology.

The X-Trail offers a standard 7-seater configuration, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and an 8-inch infotainment system. It includes a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and cruise control. However, it lacks ADAS, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. It also misses some features found in other cars in its segment, like a powered tailgate and ventilated seats.
